Looking for DJ timecode software?
TimecodeLink sends timecode from your DJ software or CDJs to your lights, video and lasers. It works with Rekordbox, Serato (beta), VirtualDJ (beta) Pioneer CDJs and XDJs, and Denon players (beta), on Mac* and Windows, and you pay once.
*Rekordbox on Mac needs Apple Silicon.
Who TimecodeLink is for
TimecodeLink is made for clubs, bars, mobile DJs and independent artists who want their lights, lasers or visuals to follow whatever track is playing. It runs on the laptop you already DJ on, or next to a few CDJs.
- Works from Rekordbox, Serato and VirtualDJ on a laptop, with no CDJs needed, and with Pioneer CDJs / XDJs
- SMPTE timecode out over LTC, MTC and Art-Net, all at the same time
- Tempo out: BPM and beats to Ableton Link, grandMA2 / grandMA3 speed masters and OSC
- OSC triggers on track load or at chosen moments, to start Resolume clips and lighting cues
- Works with Resolume, grandMA, Pangolin BEYOND, lighting consoles, lasers and video

Timecode from DJ software on Windows
Every TimecodeLink input runs on Windows 10 and 11: Rekordbox, Serato (beta), VirtualDJ (beta) CDJs / XDJs and Denon players (beta). Art-Net timecode goes out over the network. For LTC, send the audio to a spare output on your interface, or route it to other software on the same PC through VB-CABLE.
How it works
Your DJ software or players tell TimecodeLink which track is playing and where it is. TimecodeLink turns that into timecode, tempo and triggers, and sends them to every output you've switched on.

FAQ
Do I need CDJs to use TimecodeLink?
No. It works from Rekordbox, Serato or VirtualDJ on your laptop. If you play on Pioneer CDJs or XDJs, it reads them over the network instead.
Does TimecodeLink run on Mac and Windows?
Yes: macOS 12 or later, and Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). Rekordbox on Mac needs an Apple Silicon Mac; on an Intel Mac, the CDJ, Serato and VirtualDJ inputs and every output still work.
How much does TimecodeLink cost?
It's a one-time purchase for TimecodeLink 0.x and 1.x: $69 for Standard, $149 for Pro. Both include every feature; Standard covers up to 3 machines, Pro up to 5.
Can I try it first?
Yes. The free trial runs for 30 days with every feature. Download it and run it; there's no sign-up.
